The runner-up in the Maine Class C State Championships was Dexter High School and the champion is Winthrop High School!
Winthrop beat Boothbay in the quarterfinals and went on to win 7-1 in the semifinals over Spruce Mountain.
Then, they won the Regional Finals 3-0 over Hall-Dale. The State Championship was played on November 9 against the North Region winners, Dexter High School. It ended with a score of 2-1. The game was decided in overtime, with Winthrop ending 2024 with a perfect record.
