Meet the newest Ritual Ambassador, Kaylee Hester, who will be joining the Longstreth Athlete Program this year! Kaylee is from Richmond, Virginia and plays club field hockey for Relentless and high school for The Collegiate School. Kaylee is a member of the U16 USWNT and a Max Field Hockey athlete. She has competed in high level series/tournaments like Nexus Championship U18 and Women’s Indoor Developmental Team – CanAm Series.

What stick do you use and why do you choose it?
I choose this stick because I liked how it enhanced the power of my shots, and the lightness of the stick.
Do you have a grip preference? If so, which grip and why do you like it?
I like my grip thicker because I feel like it gives me more control.
How long have you been playing field hockey and what made you first want to start playing?
I have been playing field hockey since third grade, and I wanted to try a new sport.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Listening to the music before my game and having a pregame talk with my dad.

Poptarts and Pedialyte
What is your go-to game day hairstyle?
High, Curly ponytail, with a neon yellow headband.

What do you like to do when you are not playing field hockey?
Diamond painting and weightlifting
