We are excited to welcome Tessa Bolles into the Longstreth Athlete Program as one of the newest TK Ambassadors! Tessa is from Reading, Pennsylvania and attends Governor Mifflin High School. She plays club for Next Level – PA and is currently committed to play DI field hockey at La Salle University!

What stick do you use and why do you choose it?
I chose the TK Deluxe Late Bow because I loved the power on it and how easily it was to hit.
Do you have a grip preference? If so, which grip and why do you like it?
I love the Karakal grip in pink because of the color and control I get from it.
How long have you been playing field hockey and what made you first want to start playing?
I started playing field hockey when I was 7, I got into field hockey because I grew up watching my brothers play ice hockey and wanted to try something similar but also different to it!
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I like to listen to music before warm ups.
What's your go-to pre game meal?
A bagel.
What is your go-to game day hairstyle?
A slick back pony tail with ribbon.
Describe your playing style in three words?
Fast, relentless, and poised.
What do you like to do when you are not playing field hockey?
I love to work out or cook.
Do you have any game day superstitions?
I always wear the same socks + Hocsocx at home games.

If you could give your younger self a piece of advice, what would it be?
It would be just to have fun, it can be so easy to get lost in the pressure of the game, so just finding the fun in the sport can help a lot!
What is your favorite field hockey memory?
Winning my league’s quarterfinal game in overtime during my junior year, it was the first time my team has won a quarterfinal game in a few years.
